HUMANA SL

Humana SL is a pleasant‐tasting, milk‐free special formula for infants and toddlers, made of soy protein isolate, vegetable fats and glucose syrup.

Humana SL is free of cow's milk protein, gluten, galactose and lactose. It contains taurine, carnitine and the tried and tested Humana fat body, which
is rich in essential fatty‐acids: linoleic acid and linoleic acid are balanced. Humana SL has low osmolarity.

Preparation

13.5 g powder + 90 ml water = 100 ml preparation ready to drink.
The dose can also be determined by a doctor in accordance with age, weight and tolerance. The powder is dissolved in freshly boiled water that has been allowed to cool to approx. 70°C (or in Humana Baby-Wasser, warmed to 70°C).

Drinking Quantities

The quantities differ from one individual to another and will be determined by the doctor or midwife in the first week at the clinic.
The guideline for daily drinking quantities: approx. 140‐180 ml/kg body weight.
Please use only the measuring spoon supplied (hold approx. 4.5g)

Ingredients

Glucose syrup, vegetable oils, soy protein isolate, calcium orthophosphate, emulsifier: soy lecithin, calcium carbonate, potassium chloride,
potassium citrate, sodium citrate, magnesium carbonate, vitamin mixture (vitamin C, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin E, vitamin B2,
vitamin B1, vitamin A, vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin K, biotine, vitamin D3, vitamin B12), choline hydrogen tartrate, sodium chloride, taurine, L‐
tryptophan, inositol, iron lactate, L‐cystine, L‐carnitine, zinc oxide, copper sulphate, potassium iodate, manganese sulfate.

Indications

  • Humana SL is suitable for the exclusive feeding of infants and supplementary feeding of toddlers
  • As special food in the event of cow's milk intolerance (cow's milk protein allergy, lactose intolerance, galactosemia) as part of a
  • diet plan
  • As special food in the event of problems digesting nutrients as part of a diet plan
  • in the event of celiac disease and sucrose intolerance as part of a special diet
  • in the event of Glycogenose Type 1 and fructose intolerance as part of a special diet – only with constant control
  • contains easily digestible carbohydrates; for glucose tolerance problems use only with constant metabolic control.
