Humana 3 is a follow‐on food made with a whey protein: the casein proportion is 20 : 80. It is suitable as a diet for small children (1‐3 years) within the framework of a balanced diet. With its age appropriate protein content and high level of iron and iodine Humana Expert 3 is perfectly composed to meet the needs of the child in the growth phase. It contains all relevant minerals and vitamins in suitable amounts. Including Vitamin D, which, according to the latest scientific insights is critically important for older infants and small children; available in the amounts necessary to promote optimum calcium absorption.

Further essential ingredients include:

Omega‐3 (docosahexaenoic acid/DHA) and Omega‐6 (linolen) fatty acids promote the proper development of the brain and eyesight and have a positive effect on the development of a child’s comprehensive abilities and psychomotor functions.

Prebiotics (galacto‐oligosaccharide) support the development of healthy intestinal micro‐flora, which contributes to the natural protection of a child’s organism. It promotes good digestion and the formation of soft stool.

Nucleotides strengthen the organism’s natural immune defences that make the body resistant to infections.

Preparation

14,5 g powder + 90 ml water = 100 ml ready‐to‐drink food. Dissolve the powder in freshly boiled water that has been cooled to 50°C (or Humana Baby Water that has been heated to 50°C).

Drinking Quantities

A small child drinks 1‐2 meals of 170‐230 ml / day. However, the drinking amounts listed are approximate values only and can vary depending on the individual.
